This meet can be used as a qualifier for High School Nationals on April 4 – 7, 2024 in Baton Rouge, LA & Collegiate Nationals on April 11 – 14, 2024 in Atlanta, GA. Only Teen, Junior, High School JV & Varsity, and Collegiate divisions will be available for registration. There are no qualifying requirements to compete in this event. Any USA Powerlifting Member can compete in this event if they are in Teen or Junior divisions. To qualify for Nationals, you must achieve the qualifying total for your weight class and division. REGISTRATION OPENS ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14 AT 10:00 AM EST AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.
All entries are non-refundable. There are no exceptions. Athletes who choose to withdraw before January 6 may choose to take a Calloso meet credit.
REGISTRATION: All participants must register online. Registrants may wait until November 1st to purchase a USAPL membership so that it rolls into 2024. Membership application can be found here.
First Division + T-shirt: $120
Additional Divisions: $25
All entries are non-refundable.
DIVISIONS: The age divisions offered for this meet will be Teen (14-19), Junior (20-23), High School JV & Varsity, and Collegiate divisions. Lifters are able to enter more than one division (i.e., Junior and Collegiate).
EVENTS: Events offered will be 3-Lift, Push-Pull and Bench-Only. You may lift in either the raw, raw with wraps, or equipped (single-ply) divisions. Please contact the meet director if you wish to compete in Para-Bench or Adaptive Athlete divisions.
SPECTATOR & COACH PASSES: Admission for spectators is $10. Coach passes are $20 and allow access into the warm-up area with the lifters. Tickets are non-refundable.
SCHEDULE:
7:30am – Doors open for athletes to check-in, submit rack heights, & complete equipment check
8:00am – Weigh-In by order of lot number
9:15am – Compulsory Rules Meeting in the gymnasium
9:30am – Weigh-in, equipment check, and rack heights close
10:00am – Lifting Begins
4:30pm – Award Ceremony
Lifters must obtain permission from the meet director if they wish to leave before the awards ceremony to ensure they are not chosen for drug testing.
TECHNICAL RULES: This meet will follow the technical rules found in the USA Powerlifting rulebook. You can find the rulebook here. There will be a minimum of 10% of participants will be drug tested via urinalysis. AWARDS: Medals will be given to 1st through 3rd place in each weight class in each division.
