ABOUT THE UNITED LADIES OF IRON: Multiple states in the United States will hold a WOMEN’S ONLY event on the same date, April 30, 2022. Scoring will be done via LiftingCast. This will allow all competitors to compete against women all over the United States at the same time without being in the same place. These combined results will be entered into the lifting database as “United Ladies of Iron” to form, possibly, the largest women’s only powerlifting event! Each lifter will also compete against the lifters at their local event. Awards and placings will be given to those on location as well as the nation wide placings. Each local event will award the top 3 places in each weight class and age division. In addition, the top 3 in each weight class and age division will be awarded to the winners of United Ladies of Iron.

Participating States: Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.

DIVISIONS: The age divisions offered for this meet will be Youth (8-14), Teen (14-19), Junior (20-23), Masters (40+) and Open divisions. Both Female and Mx will be offered.

NOTE: If you are within the age ranges for Teen, Junior, or Masters divisions, you can also enter the Open division to compete against all ages. The Open division is by far the most competitive. It is highly recommended for athletes looking to compete in a larger group of competitors to compete in the Open division AND their age division (Teen, Junior, or Masters). Open division is not available for lifters 13 and under.

EVENTS: Events offered will be 3-Lift, Bench-Only, and Deadlift-Only. You may lift in either the raw, raw with wraps, or equipped (single-ply) divisions. Please contact the meet director if you wish to compete in Para-Bench or Adaptive Athlete divisions.
