This is an unsanctioned meet.
Squat: wait for down command, hit depth (hip crease below top of knee, wait for rack command.
Bench: wait for down, press, and rack commands. Must touch chest.
Deadlift: wait for down command. No hitching.
Competitors will go in order according to weight class and attempts. Weight classes to be determined once all athletes register. No weigh ins will be held, weight is on the honor system.
All lifters will be provided a shirt to wear. Please wear it while competing. Please contact Sarah Bodary on FB or text 313.721.9625 to let her know shirt size. She will then send you a sponsorship Lift a Thon form for you to keep track of your donations. Singlets are not mandatory.
No equipped lifters. Belts, wrist wraps, knee sleeves ARE allowed.
Please do your best to get as many sponsors as possible. Helping Brandy’s family and honoring her memory is what this is all about.
Athlete Sponsors:
You may donate a flat price or you may donate a certain monetary amount per pound that the athlete lifts.
Shirts:
$20 per shirt. Send payment to bodarybody@gmail.com. You can pick up your shirt at Plant It Hydro once they are made, or on the day of the event.
